The Mobius Forum World (MFW or MoFo¹ World for short) is a loose setting that serves as the backdrop for a variety of fiction and RPs/GMs that primarily star the forumers themselves. In essence, it is the physical, role playing, manifestation of the Sonic HQ forums. It is not however a digital world, so don't think of it as a MATRIX or something like that. In character, the MFW is described as follows:

1. The MFW is classified as a Demiplane - this basically means that the MFW is a finite, self-contained universe, generally unbound by the physical laws that bind ordinary universes such as our own Earth. So, in essense, it is an extra-dimensional alternate plane of existence.
2. It is a fairly known world; notorious for its immense bouts of insanity and many travelers visit it from other worlds, often ending up living here. Also there are probably some fixed Gates connecting the MFW to other worlds. For all intents and purposes, whenever you enter a gate that leads to the MoFo World it leads you to the Newbie Distribution Center.
3. No one knows who created the MFW. Some commoners believe it was Zifei Wu, but what Zifei did was found Sega City in 1997. The demiplane itself is actually far older than that.
4. One of the most interesting things about the MFW is that several aspects of its existence have been dedicated to Sonic the Hedgehog (who is very real in some of the myriad other worlds floating in the Multiverse).
5. The original MFW was destroyed by an entity known as the Dark WB. WB and Evil WB contained DWB and recreated the world into the place it is today. This new MFW is for the most part the same world, but some of its workings and aspects were 're-tooled' by the Cosmic Icky Stick.
6. The main hub of civilization in the MFW is the sprawling metropolis known as Sega City. Rightfully heralded as the Capitol of the MFW, Sega City is a very beautiful place, with nature peacefully coexisting with urban skyscrapers.
7. He who controls Sega City essentially controls the MFW. The current rulers of Sega City are the Webmasters: Vector and True Red. The webmasters and a few of their closest associates make up the leading team in Sega City and are known as the Administrators (or Admins). The Administrators are in essence exactly what their name suggests. They run the place, making sure everything goes smoothly. They have been given special powers by a set of magical relics known as the Figment Keys. To an extent the Figment Keys give power to the imagination of all creatures that call the MFW home and are indeed the main building blocks of the world. Powerful as they are, the Admins can't run the world on their own, so under them are the Moderators (or Mods) who also enjoy special powers courtesy of the Figment Keys.
8. Aside from the Admins and Mods, a large amount of civilians fill up posts as clerks, civil servants, etc. and essentially form Sega City's government, which is basically centered in the HQ Tower.
