Worlds of Exploration

Launched: Late 2001
Designed by: Vector originally, and TBlood designed the generic outcome since it was never completed
Directed by: Vector, Samanfur
Behind the Scenes Note:
Though not named as such, I believe that WoE was meant to be a full fledged Group Mission in Vector's mind. It was never completed, but it placed solid foundations on the nature of the Figment Keys.

The Concept:
Based on an older pre-GMA Group Mission that involved forumers using books as gateways to travel to other worlds (I believe that this was inspired by Myst), Vec attempts to make a story that recaptures the feeling of that old GM.

The Story:
Vector leads an expedition of Forumers into other worlds for scientific experiments.

Things got complicated when Evil Vector attempted to steal the Figment Keys, the source of power of the Admins and Mods as well as the main building block of the MFW.

Evil Vec naturally screws things up and the keys end up scattered on various worlds and the forumers are now using the books as gateways to other worlds in order to explore them in a race to retrieve the Figment Keys.

Things get even more complicated when Administrator Mobius TetherBlood goes rogue in order to obtain the keys for himself and destroy them to be unbound of the MFW even though that would ultimately lead to the demiplane's destruction.

In the end however, TBlood once again joins forces with the forumers that were led by Vec and Samanfur and all of them defeated Evil Vector, and restored the Keys back into the MFW.

Aftermath:
WoE is still treated as a historical RP mostly because it was the main source of inspiration for some of the MFW 'physics' with the integration of the Figment Keys.
