Behind the Scenes Note:
Launched originally by some random forumers (whose identities are currently forgotten) this GM had no name at first. Because the story initially didn't have any coherency or purpose WB and TBlood (who was just a forumer himself back then) stepped in and put a basic plot in motion. Also, it bears mention that the actual final post, though written in time, was posted much, much later after the GM had actually reached the final stage.

The Concept:
At the time that this GM was created, the Forum was based on another server, but a move was already being planned. GMA was a sort of RP celebration for the impeding move. The idea was to destroy the world, and create it anew signifying in RP glory the move from disc-server to EzBoard. It was meant to be an epic saga with the main mission objective being nothing less than saving the world from impeding doom.

The Story:
In the previous GM, the Forumers had managed to defeat EWB and rescue the 'real' WB.

However, in the beginning stages of GMA, it was revealed that the person the forumers had rescued, was not really WB, but his villainous alter-ego; Evil WB.

EWB had spent the last few months, manipulating the Forumers and the Mods in order to find a way to unlock the true power of the Cosmic Icky Stick (the Dark WB). When he was discovered, he used his personal vanguard - the Forum Rangers - to exile the Mods from the HQ Tower and bring in his own Evil Mods; Evil Vector, Evil Chainspike, and War Troophead. He also unleashed weird monstrosities in the streets of Sega City to terrorise the local residents (remember the Cappuccino Monster?).

Simultaneously a series of events (that were triggered by EWB's initial tampering with the Stick, before he unleashed DWB) led to a certain Cosmic Paradox known as the "Plothole Effect" which had as an immediate result the creation of another nearly identical MFW. This new MFW (some times called EFW - Emerald Forum World) was practically devoid of life but otherwise pretty much identical to the original Demiplane. Because of the fact that they were practically parallel worlds co-existing in the same dimension a sort of self-destruct sequence was triggered. The worlds were cancelling each other out, and with earthquakes and other unnatural things plaguing the MFW, it was apparent that the End Times were nigh.

It was then, after all these were revealed, that the GM was actually named "Group Mission Apocalypse".

The Guardian of Worlds; Mobius TetherBlood, had accidentally discovered the MFW prior to all this and had taken residence in Sega City (considering the place as a vacational resort), so when people realised what was going on, TBlood and his Templar joined forces with the original Mods; Vector (who back then was second in command after WB), Troophead (who also happened to be TBlood's romantic interest at the time), and Chainspike (who probably most people don't remember this but that at least in character she was supposed to be WB's own romantic interest at the time). I think that Samanfur was a Mod too back then, but even if she wasn't, her role was no less important since she was part of the HQ Staff and always in the frontlines against EWB.

EWB on his own accord, to counter the significant might of TBlood had joined forces with Knightmare, TBlood's own son and his worst enemy (pretty much the definite Evil TBlood).

With Knightmare's help, the evil Mods gathered an army to use against the rival Mods. The forumers on the other hand had rallied behind the True Mods and the "Apocalypse War" was officially initiated.

Unfortunately its opening couldn't turn out any worse. When TBlood and his Templar were visiting the parallel MFW, they were ambushed by Knightmare and that had as a result TBlood falling into a deep coma.

On the other hand, EWB, utilizing the might of the Cosmic Icky Stick decimated the forumers who hastily retreated into the newly created underwater fortress Waterhole (conceived by TBlood and Troophead).

EWB had won the first round, but he wanted to find Waterhole and finish off the Mods. Not only that, but he had still not found a way to unleash the Dark WB from the Cosmic Icky Stick.

Meanwhile the Forumers, using Waterhole as their base of operations performed guerrilla war against EWB, though with limited results. And all these were overshadowed by the simple fact that the world was starting to crumble as the MFW was nearing its final days. Worse yet, EWB had captured Troophead.

Unavoidably, EWB discovered the true location of Waterhole (Knightmare had used his telepathic abilities to steal the general location of Waterhole from Troop's head, and EWB discovered the exact location by following another Forumer called Duo) and attacked immediately. The underwater facility was damaged, and had started to flood. But the remaining Mods had more tricks up their sleeves and activated its aerial mode. Waterhole emerged from the water and was turned into an aerial fortress. What was an underwater conflict was now a sky high dogfight. The Forumers that were in Waterhole, put on flight-packs and attacked WB's own Aerial Fortress. Their efforts were enough to rescue Troophead (who went on to rescue WB who was imprisoned within EWB's Aerial Fortress) and give True Red enough time to cure TBlood.

The ongoing battle had damaged the auto-piloting systems of Waterhole however, so a Forumer by the name Hiroshi took it upon himself to pilot the fortress while the rest of the Forumers were trying to keep the enemy forces at bay.

Meanwhile TetherBlood, after defeating War Troophead and the Forum Rangers, assaulted Evil WB directly only to be surprised when he discovered that EWB's main weapon: the Cosmic Icky Stick was more than capable of dealing with TBlood's magical defences. The battle had reached a standstill until the original WB was released by Troophead, and got himself in the middle of the fight. WB, Troophead, and TBlood together managed to stall EWB long enough for True Red to clear any survivors from Waterhole and retreat (Red also encountered Knightmare within Waterhole, but Knightmare quickly left her when he discovered that TBlood was fighting EWB).

In a desperate attempt to help all the survivors leave Waterhole, Hiroshi stayed within the cockpit piloting Waterhole and then steered Waterhole on a crash course to EWB's own fortress, severely damaging EWB's aerial fortress while saving the forumers but unfortunately sacrificing himself.

The remaining Forumers took up refuge in Mount Kitsune, miles away from Sega City.

A series of events led all the forumers in a final conflict on Sega City.

With Forumer versus Evil Forumer, and Mod versus Evil Mod the battle initially didn't seem to have a clear victor.

OnyxBomb, another forumer, was battling it out with Evil WB himself. Knightmare's physical form was destroyed by TBlood so he took control of Troophead's body. Bumper (another forumer) was battling it out with War Troophead while Samanfur watched his back by dealing with the Forum Rangers. Meanwhile on a last ditch attempt to turn the side of battle to their favour, TBlood kills Troophead to get rid of Knightmare and merges Troop's soul with his (planning to clone a new body for her later).

Meanwhile the Onyx Vs EWB duel had seemed to produce EWB as the victor who started encasing forumer after forumer into crystal prisons. WB then tried to grab the Stick away from EWB and as the two WBs were fighting for control of the stick, the Stick itself took their essences and released Dark WB.

Dark WB started destroying everything he saw, and then EWB had realised that he never should have tried to unleash him in the first place. Every one united against Dark WB but no one managed to do anything since he destroyed everything that tried to stand in his way.

In the end, nearly every Forumer in Sega City launched a simultaneous attack against Dark WB led by the surviving Mods and TBlood, but to no avail. Dark WB just killed them all. And then he used his power to completely obliterate both the MFW and the parallel EFW.

It's not exactly clear what happened after that. But EWB and WB united and imprisoned DWB within the Stick once again. Then used its power to resurrect everyone and create a new Mobius Forum World which is basically the same as everyone knows it today.

Aftermath:
At first, no one remembered what had happened except for WB and EWB but soon memories of the truth flooded people's minds (in reality that was actually a plothole generated by TBlood, who simply forgot that Forumers were not supposed to remember the truth, yet he wrote future stories as if everyone did).

The Administrators were created and under them the Moderators. For his services in the Apocalypse War (and for donating Templar Technology to Sega City) WB turned TBlood into an Administrator who in turn later turned Samanfur into one as well. True Red also becomes an Administrator around that time.

That was the beginning of a new Age for Sega City and the Mobius Forum World.
