This website gets its name "Dark Ruby" due to a couple of things. As a mainly personal website, I want it to represent me and my things in as many ways as possible. Because the ruby is red & the birthstone of my birth month, I'm a Black person, and I like the night, I decided to call the website "Dark Ruby."

Gifts is where I put up some things that I have received from others or things that I have created that anyone can use. Fanlistings is where I list the fanlists that I have joined. Websites is where I describe the websites that I maintain or have maintained over the years. Links contains links to websites that aren't mine.

I'm from the United States. Despite the nickname, my favorite color is blue. I can play the violin, which is my favorite instrument, thanks to the music education program at the schools I attended as a child. I like many sports (particularly the ones featured in the Summer Olympics), but my absolute favorite is basketball.

True Red is a nickname I created for myself back in 1996 and I use it a lot online. At the time, Sonic and Knuckles were two of my favorite characters in the Sonic The Hedgehog series published by Archie Comics. Their nicknames are True Blue and Rad Red respectively. I mixed the names and I preferred the name "True Red" (over "Rad Blue") for myself as a budding Knuckles fan at the time.
